Emerald Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Donates to Harlee's Helping Hands

February 6, 2020
Barnesville, Ohio - Emerald Pointe was pleased to help Harlee's Helping Hands by donating a dozen turkeys to help feed the homeless.

We enjoy being a part of this community and helping where we can. When we heard what this young woman was doing, we wanted to help!

Harlee Owens started Harlee's Helping Hands when she was just 6 years old in 2013. She helps the homeless by providing tents down in Wheeling by the river. She saves 4H money to help Children (265 this year alone) who would have little or no gifts for Christmas without help. Harlee has donated food to local food banks, has helped Fire victims who have lost their home and belongings, she helps domestic violence victims with Hotel rooms and is working now with Paws for a Cause animal rescue.

So often we hear about the sad, bad, and mean things teens are doing.

We want to let people see that some special kids these days still have a heart for service and deeply care for those around them. KUDOS Harlee.

Keep up the good work! We are proud of you!
